Kylie Minogue isn’t as well known in the U.S. as she is in the U.K., but the video you’re about to see should have made her infamous everywhere! It’s probably the raciest piece of commercial cinema we have ever seen and will blow your mind.
A little about Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue is a triple threat, singer, songwriter and actress born in Australia. She rose to fame in the Australian television show Neighbours in the mid 80’s playing schoolgirl cum auto mechanic Charlene Mitchell. During this period she performed at a benefit concert for Fitzroy Football Club the Sonny and Cher hit “I got You Babe”. She signed a recording contract with Mushroom Records shortly there after.
Kylie’s début album titled simply Kylie was a huge hit and her cover of the Little Eva hit “The Loco-Motion” hit the Billboard 100 in the U.S. and number one on the Canadian Singles Chart.
Most recently Minogue released her album titles X which included songs written by Bloodshy & Avant, Cathy Dennis and Calvin Harris was criticized for its light tone given Minogue’s experience battling breast cancer. After suffering an initial lukewarm reception in the U.S., sales eventually picked up.
In 2002, Kylie teamed up with U.K. lingerie company Agent Provocateur to create a cinema only experience that would run before movies called “Proof.” It was banned from ever being shown on television in the U.K., but in 2009 was voted best cinema ad ever. The ad shows Kylie fully outfitted in Agent Provocateur lingerie riding a mechanical bull made of crushed velvet. Once we wiped the drool off our mouths, we thought it would be incredibly entertaining to share with our readers. We think you will agree that this video definitely qualifies as one of the best you will ever see on our website!
