The summer brings sunshine, trips to the beach and possibly hundred degree heat in your car. So we’d like to take a second to cool things down, only to heat them up again really quick with a Sybian. We know that Christmas in July has come and gone, so we are excited to bring you, wait for it, Christmas in early August!

Girls Reading Poetry While Riding Sybians

The generous and creative team at Simple Pickup have created yet another Sybian video for our viewing pleasure. You may have seen their previous video of girls at Venice Beach in Los Angeles riding Sybians for charity. This time the team took on a new challenge by getting girls to read the classic Twas the Night Before Christmas! 

The Poem “Twas The Night Before Christmas”

The poem was originally known as A Visit from St. Nicholas and written by Clement Clarke Moore in 1822. The son of prominent bishop, Benjamin Moore, whose claim to fame at the time was officiating at President George Washington’s inauguration and providing Alexander Hamilton with holy communion after his ill-fated duel with Aaron Burr.

We are relatively sure the elder Moore would have been mortified to know that women in the future would get sexual gratification while reading his sons prose in front of something as magical as a video camera. What would really blow his mind would be the fact that the event could be seen for the rest of human history on any part of the earth at any moment in time. Wow!

Forgive us for waxing poetic on the advances mankind has faced since the nineteenth century, but you have to admit it’s pretty damn awesome. What’s more awesome is that you’ve taken a few minutes of your life to receive a history lesson and you haven’t clicked on the link below to watch the video!
