A Sybian Adventure in Second Life

I have to start by saying I’m not really into virtual worlds, of any kind. I’m not an online gamer and don’t do the MMORPG thing. I do like role playing, but IRL. That all being said, I was utterly fascinated when I logged onto our Pinterest account @RideOfHerLife today and did some searches for Sybian. Usually I find an odd assortment of videos, images and random memes. Some look interesting, some bizarre and then there are others that just beg for more “research”.

In Second Life you can purchase animations, they can help you clap, blow a kiss or do just about any physical activity outside the standard walk, run, fly routines. Some companies have been making a fortune selling animations, furniture, houses, just about anything you can imagine for use in a virtual world. These include what you would expect – a sofa – and some things you wouldn’t expect – a gynecological exam table for use in S&M activities in the virtual world. Today, I found the holy grail of sex devices on one company’s Pinterest board – a Sybian!

I’ve only used Second Life a couple of times in my life, usually to research something – long before BitCoin became a thing, regulators in the US were looking at money laundering in Second Life using Linden Dollars (which could be traded outside the world). So I decided to re-up and have a look around and what I found was fascinating!

My little adventure started when I created an avatar, female of course! Dressed her up and headed out. After some brief stumbles, like drowning myself when I teleported to the middle of nowhere, I started walking around. I found animations for sitting in a hot tub (tub included), getting drunk on the beach, proposing engagement and so much more! It was … interesting to say the least. And how much does it cost to pass out in Second Life or at least simulate it? All prices were quoted in Linden Dollars, and as it turns out, being drunk on the beach is only about fifty US cents! What a bargain! Riding a sybian was only about two US dollars. A cheap experience, but…it’s animation! There were a variety of positions and some of the animation made ME blush!

A fun way to blow through a couple of hours for sure. If you want the real thing AND you live in Los Angeles, then rent a Sybian from us!
